  • I moved to Pittsburgh in October 2001 and one of the first things I heard about was Primanti Brothers. I have gone to this location twice with a friend who was born and raised here, but I have yet to try their food. In fact, I have yet to place an order! Both times I have gone to this location, my friend and I have been ignored. If we ask to place an order, we're told "I'll be with you in a minute" and then resume being ignored while other customers who came in after us are served. Is it because I am plus sized? Is it because my male friend has long, painted fingernails? Is it something else? I don't know for sure. And I did try a second time in case there was some other problem (new staff?) the first time with the same results. I have to say that at this point, I am unlikely to ever patronize ANY Primanti Brothers' location.
