| - I just purchased a 2017 Tucson Limited. I was referred to LMH by the Sam's Club Auto Buying Program. I was referred to another dealer through the Costco Auto Buy Program. Both programs arrange for a pre-negotiated, no haggle price and you work with an "Internet Sales Manager." Both the Costco and Sam's price were rated "Exceptional" by TrueCar.com. They also offered me the same for my trade-in, once again TrueCar.com said was a fair price. Neither dealer had the color (with the Ultimate package) I wanted on the lot and both were more than willing to find one for me. So, I chose LMH to purchase from as they are closer to my home. I was able to negotiate a few extra's from LMH for buying from them rather than the other dealer. My salesman, Kenneth Ellson, found the color I wanted and sent someone to Tucson, AZ that afternoon to pick it up. I picked it up the next morning. The paperwork went smooth as the finance manager didn't try to pressure me into any additional warranties or services. Of course I told him when I walked in the door not to even try. I was in and out in a little over an hour.
Here's the bottom line. DO NOT WALK INTO ANY CAR DEALER UNPREPARED. If you do, it's YOUR FAULT, not theirs. Do your research. Know what you want and know what you are willing to pay. Use a buying service, there are plenty of them out there from Costco to AAA. Know what your trade is worth. Be realistic about it's condition. Once again, there are many websites out there to guide you, Edmonds, Kelly Blue Book, TrueCar. If you are prepared, you will be pleased and the buying experience will be painless (OK, moderately painless). Everyone I was in contact with was extremely pleasant and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend Kenneth and the rest of his internet team to anyone.
