  • Patterson did a good job on our guest bathroom. BUT We are not using them for the remodel on the master bathroom for several reasons: 1)Our "supervisor" for the job was poor on follow through, poor on communication, and did not show up when he said he would. 2)I was in constant communication with the workers because even though I shared how I wanted the bathroom done the supervisor never seemed to share that information with the workers. Several things had to be redone because of a lack of communication. 3)The supervisor tried to charge me extra for moving the plumbing twice-their mistake, not mine. I refused to pay the difference. 4)The supervisor said he would bring me various samples of materials for the bath and most of the time I would go out searching for my own materials because he would never bring them or he would bring samples from another job that were not even close to my color scheme. 5)There were days when no workers would show up, would show up hours late, or be pulled from my job to go to Scottsdale to work on a job there. I would call and text the supervisor. He would say, "I forgot to tell you or I didn't know". There were 3 days when no one showed up. 6)The supervisor demanded payment before the job was complete and was angry when I wouldn't pay. 7)The supervisor told me he could finish the job in 2-3 weeks. Five weeks later they were not done. I had reminded him many times the job had to be completed by May 15th. We were leaving for vacation on May 18th. He assured me they would be done. They were not. When we returned they came and finished the bathroom; the supervisor seemed appalled that I would not let them come into my home when I was gone to finish the job. 8)I texted and called to talk about the master bath. After 3 days the supervisor called and said he would call on a Friday morning. He didn't contact me. After waiting for 6 days, I finally went to their office to find out what happened and why he didn't contact me. I wanted to talk to the owner/manager. Was the supervisor fired (he should be!) Was he dead or in the hospital? The only one who came out of his office to talk to me was the supervisor. He remembered the job as being perfect and as I started to tell him why I was frustrated with him he denied what I was saying. Overall using Patterson was a frustrating experience!! They do good work but I am not sure it was worth the hassle.
