I can tell that this Salon has had a lot of time and work put into making it what it is. With that said there may be a little bit more work needed before I find this place to be worthy of the 5th star. I live in San Diego and was in town to visit my mom, I am in town nearly once a month and often do litlle luxory days when I visit. I would love to find a nail place that fits me in the area.
I came in with my boyfriend and we both got pedis. It was his first pedi and he really enjoyed the experience. mostly my 4 star review is due to how happy he was when leaving. I would be giving 3 stars for my own personal experience but I again gave 4 because I can tell this business gets a lot of care and attention, the owner must be working hard at it which is impressive. I would visit again but if I get similar experience I will most likely seek out a different salon.
We both got the luxury pedis. The skill of the technicians who treated us was above average. They were very sweet but mostly quiet. The luxury pedi was great, we didnt feel rushed and we were really able to enjoy and relax. The owner offered us Hot tea and continued to make sure we were doing well and comfortable.
Nothing felt too special, I may be partial to my nail salon in San Diego. The staff at this salon do great work but they dont seem very happy or personable. The reason I love my salon back home is because of the friendliness, the trader joes wine that they offer as well as basic drinks, the cheerfulness between the employees, and family feel.
