Over Easy is a cute space bursting with light and pops of color tucked away in a shopping center plaza. The design of the restaurant is inviting and their various signage playing on the logo format adds a nice cohesiveness.
The menu has a lot of standard breakfast fare mixed with some more unique choices like waffle dogs and eggs benedict with avocado halves replacing the usual English muffin. I personally enjoyed their addition of creamy, fresh ricotta on the avocado toast. I also appreciated their use of local coffee roaster, Press.
The only downside? Having to see Guy Fieri's giant picture in the restaurant and emblazoned on the back of the servers' shirts. I get that a feature on Food Network is a cool accomplishment and a nice marketing point, but seeing his frosted tips first thing in the morning is never enjoyable.
