| - As far as girl birthday parties go, I think this one for the price can't be beat.
My daughter loves any sort of arts-n-crafts, and being in middle school, this one is a fun enough activity that they can enjoy, and they get a personalized souvenir they made themselves.
What's nice about this Color Me Mine, is the private room upstairs. You used to get it for free if you booked a party, now they charge an additional $100 plus whatever pieces you pick to paint. The total today for the party of 12 painters was $339. ($100 deposit, $200 for supplies, $39 gratuity). I brought in pizza, cupcakes, decorations, but you get at least one assistant that pretty much does everything so you can sit back and relax. They get the paint for the kids, help with the project, help you set up and they do all the clean up. In a week you'll come pick up all the fired, finished pieces.
The party is for 2 hours, it only takes about an hour or less to paint, so the other hour we eat, (last time we were here we played 2 games) and did presents. This year the middle schoolers just hung out, they ran around playing volleyball with the balloons, took copious amounts of selfies and loved the photo booth props I brought and the Instagram poster I made (she had an IG themed party), and ran around on the upstairs balcony shooting each other with the water cameras I brought.
It's a nice space to celebrate a birthday or shower, with adequate room for activities aside from painting. The attendees were very helpful and patient with our rowdy group. I'd definitely have another party there.
