| - If it were possible, I would have given this a negative 10; the absolute worst experience of our lives. I went in there at approximately 2:00 today (Sunday) with my husband and son. it was relatively empty ( maybe three other tables of customers , but several dirty tables that were sitting unbussed). There was no one at the hostess stand, but to the right were two girls behind the bar; presumably bartenders. They saw us standing there for over five minutes and said nothing. I walked the two feet over to them and asked them whether we should seat ourselves, even though the sign said the hostess would do so. They ignored me. I asked again and one snapped "yeah" My husband said we should leave and go to the Horny Toad, but I wanted to give this place a try. My son said the bartenders were disgustingly rude and he too would prefer to go elsewhere. My choice was to give them a try. We sat at a table and waited for a waitress. We waited and waited and waited.Two gals were walking around, one of which was messing with the TV right above our table. They would not make eye contact, but knew we were there. We sat there almost 15 minutes with these two gals walking right by us and neither was doing anything! The people next to us were waiting for drink refills and were livid. We got up and yes, one of them saw us and we left. UNBELIEVABLE!!
I called thirty minutes later to speak to the manager and the girl who answered the phone said she was too busy to talk to me and what was the problem. I told her I needed to speak with the manager and she refused to see if she would take the call. I told her what happened and here is what she said: The two bartenders were ignoring me because they were supposed to be " off the clock" and didn't feel they needed to acknowledge a customer. She didn't seem to have an issue with their rudeness. The reason we weren't waited on or approached was because they were having computer issues. When I tell you that this pathetic excuse for an employee couldn't care less...I cannot stress this enough. I told her a simple waive from one of the girls, as in we will be right with you, would have been fine. The place was filthy with more dirty tables than clean ones, we have NEVER seen a staff as rude, disgusting and unprofessional as this in our lives. I cannot imagine allowing customers to be treated so poorly. We will never go back and we will make certain that every single person we know never steps foot in that place. There are several fantastic eateries within steps of that place; do yourself a favor and go there!NEGATIVE 10 folks!!
