  • This place is located right next door to Orangetheory Fitness and I have seen it going in and thought i would give it a try. There was only one customer in there and I was greeted and asked what services I would be having done today. I wanted a gel manicure and was then presented with the choice between an herbal or regular gel manicure. Oooh herbal? I will give that a try. They had a huge selection and I wondered why there were so many glitter selections, much more than I see with a regular gel palette and once she got started on my nails I understood why. I selected my color and was seated. The service area is expansive, they probably have 20 pedicure chairs along with nail workstations and two nail bars. They can accommodate alot of customers as long as they are staffed. One of the gentlemen employees talked me up while I waited for my tech, he was very sweet and made sure that i had the WiFi password and that I was comfortable. My tech was walked over by another male employee and it almost seemed like they were in a skirmish but they were speaking in Vietnamese so I couldn't tell. My tech was very sweet and got to work right away. This manicure worked backwards...she drilled off my clear regular topcoat which is where i should have stopped things and moved to a regular gel manicure but i was curious so i let her keep going. She proceeded to paint my nails with some sort of bonding topcoat and then she would dip my nails into powder! She worked quickly and probably did 4 layers of powder. So let me slow this down for you...its like a hybrid gel/acrylic sort of process. The color is the powder. Mind blowing. When she was done with my color, she shaped and then did the cuticle grooming. Backwards right? Then she took the drill back to my nails (this time i was glad because they were super bubbly like acrylics and needed some taken off). She got them down to a thickness she liked -- I still think they are too bubbly -- and then glossed them up. They look good but like i said, too bubbly and I like the regular gel final product alot more. Nice people, i might give them one more try. Oh yes and the front desk employees were hunting Pokemons.
