  • I saw the sign for this restaurant off the I-17 freeway and later found out that this place catered a dinner for my wife and her colleagues at Grand Canyon University. I had to try it out. Since I was meeting a friend from high school who has lived in Phoenix for over 30 years now, I suggested we try this place and he was excited about going. I know that if a local is excited to go somewhere in their "backyard" it must be good. I ordered the bbq brisket and it was the bomb!! Very tender and tasty. Wish I could have had more than one meal there, but it's something to look forward to on my next trip there.
