  • It breaks my heart to give such a neighborhood gem a low-ish rating, but Elizabeth Creamery just did not measure up to my (admittedly high) ice cream standards. I tried the coffee-caramel (it was called "Latte" or something like that) and brownie fudge and wasn't impressed by either. My friend god blueberry cheesecake and another fruity flavor with mix-ins, both of which were too sweet and tasted kind of artificial. It's a very small shop but has a lot of flavors. It's clearly a personal business because there was just one man behind the counter. There are a few stools and a bathroom, as well as benches outside. The best part of our experience was the freshly made waffle cone. And be warned - they don't (seem to) have sugar cones - just cake and waffle.
