Second time at Duo in a week and ohhh boy its worth not waiting. Its like a new relationship and you can't wait to see the person again, you try to play it smooth and not call the next day, pretend you're sooo busy and didn't even notice... well I'm not that kinda girl when it comes to my baked goods! I've planned this date since my last visit. The first time we went around around 3pm on a Sunday and it was very busy and no seats available. So I decided to go early on a Saturday morning when it just opened... Worth it!
Everything was fresh!
We ordered the ham and cheese croissant and the raspberry rose. The savory croissant was delicious, I excepted it to be salty but it was perfect and light. Great balance of flavors! The pastry was flaky and buttery, yummm
The raspberry rose was also delicious. You can taste the rose flavour in the custard! Different and delicious!
To go we ordered the Mont blanc and pistache. Its going to be a wild Saturday night!
So the Mont blanc was okay. It was good but there was something in the middle that didn't sit well with me. Lovely presentation!
The Pistache!! Both Dave and my favorite! Raspberry tartness balances the pistachio creme sweetness. I will absolutely get this again!!
Twice in one day... I have a good feeling about this!!
