  • My husband and I, who are in our early 30's, lived here for about a year and a half and it was a roller coaster ride the whole time. We had a 2 bed 1 bath and it was nice and roomy but I was never very pleased with the layout. The cost was cheap so that's why we stayed as long as we did. The walls and windows were so thin, you could hear everything outside. Didn't matter if it was a party at the pool, someone waking their dog outside, or the neighbor talking on the phone-we could hear it all at all times of the day or night. Not to mention the stray cats that had babies on the roof above our bedroom being a noise factor for months. When I advised the office of this, they said they would do something about it right away but never did a thing. So we lived in our apartment that smelled of cat pee for months and months, due to them using the bathroom up there, and dealt with the sound of running cats during the night. Neighbors were complaining to each other about the cat pee odor that came every time it's rain because it was flooding down off the roof. Had to happen during monsoon season. There was a drug dealer who was constantly running to cars right out front of our apartment at all hours of the day and night and doing drug deals. At first he was slick about it and have the cars park in different areas to not draw attention. Then he became careless and would just walk up to the cars windows and deal in the same spot in front of the pool. Then there was the gun shots that went off at 1am one morning and had a swarm of cops there for hours. Which, wasn't the first time cops were in the complex. One time they arrived and chased a kid who they eventually found hiding in the pool area. Another time they came to shut down a noise complaint and ended up arresting a drunk girl who was so messed up she was hiding behind the grills hoping the cops wouldn't catch her. Again, with the thin walls and windows, hard not to hear all of this happening. Of course this wasn't their fault, but during our stay there they had the fire in the main building which caused for 8-10 months of rehab on the building and the noise was unbearable! 5AM-3/4PM Monday-Saturday. Right after they cleaned and created their new facilities a party was going on at the pool and a guy OD'd while sitting at the table by the pool. They didn't even realize he had passed until hours later. Of course the cops and forensics team came and spent hours there before removing the body. Always a show going on while we lived there. We soon moved to a home with a pool and sadly, we paid close the same for power as we did in our little apartment. I've never had such a high power bill in an apartment like I did here. No one should be paying $220/month for utilities. Outrageous! I wouldn't recommend this place for many reasons. I heard they are under new management now so maybe this will improve their complex as far as safety.
