  • Morgan's on 17th is kind of a dingy dive bar, which despite that, packs them in in droves. Maybe it's the location, maybe it's the live music, or maybe it's the crowd. I tend to think it's the latter. The demographic of the crowd at Morgan's trends a little older than alot of other bars along the Red Mile, which is a good thing for a dude that did the bulk of his bar-hopping in the mid '90's. Come to think of it, that's probably the last time this place got a good scrub and polish. No matter - just adds to the character of the place, in my estimation. So if you're looking for an unpretentious, raucous, old time rock-n-roll bar, roll on into Morgan's.
