| - 12/27/15 My first experience with Peruvian food. I was apprehensive because the parking lot was empty, the restaurant was not crowded, and the waiter did not seem friendly but it turned out to be a nice dinner with friends and good food.
The restaurant had other customers but it was not noisy and allowed us to have a quiet dinner with friends. There was only one waiter (not very friendly) he was patient, efficient and took care of us.
I read the Yelp reviews and decided to order the Lomo Saltado (Tender beef strips sauteed w/tomatoes & onion, garnished w french fries & rice $15.95), it was delicious. The rice tastes like the jasmine rice in fancy Chinese restaurants, the meat was tender and delicious, the gravy from the food was so good on the fries and rice. I tried a bite of my friends food and that was good. There was these big corn kernels that I thought was bland and too starchy on my friends plate, note to self, don't get that. I would have Peruvian food again.
They give appetizers, looks and taste like big corn nuts, it was good. They also provide a green sauce called "Aji" I can't figure out what it is for since the foods are delicious as is.
