  • Yes. I have experienced better. Wolf Creek, for one. Filia Cellars in Wadsworth for another. I had the sampler, $11.00 for four samples of their reds (or whites, your choice). Each sample is maybe two ounces. I thought they were O.K., but not great. A friend had an $8.00 glass and I understand what others said about the pour. It was rather lacking. Another friend opted to simply have a soda, as they were here before and really didn't care for any of the wines (not sweet enough). I tend to like a sweet wine over a dry, but really didn't taste too much difference in my sample of four. They weren't really sweet, but weren't really dry, either. Maybe the first sample blocked my taste buds, but I couldn't see too much difference in them. They just opened, so, as time goes on, I hope they find things to hang on the bare walls as it is very noisy in there, and only a few other tables were occupied when I was there. The décor consists of a mix of wooden planked floors and timbers in the walls with some rather industrial looking tables on the first floor. I thought it was kind of a cool mixture. The upstairs has mirrored tables and vaulted ceilings. Again, rather cool. There is also a small deck off the upstairs area that will probably be the place to be when weather permits. In order to compete they will have to start giving a more generous pour. I've spoken to others who have been there and they all consider it to be expensive for what you get. Unless they do they will more than likely not ever be too crowded as there are too many other wineries popping up that offer more, plus the well-established one that have been in the game for years.
