  • I signed up for the TRX classes in early May to up my summer work out routine. The start date came and gone three times and I kept getting an email from the instructor telling me that they never had enough interest and would be pushing the classes back a week. After three attempts at starting the class i was given the option to refund my purchase which agreed too. I was told three different stories of how the refund would be paid back, I was told it would be a cheque in the mail or likely a direct refund back to my card. Once I finally got a hold of head office for Goodlife (because the locations selling these classes don't seem to have anything to do with managing refunds) I was told that the refund had been paid out to the bank account of a family member on my account. The member experience rep Jennifer apologized and suggested I just talk to the family member to see if they can give me money they refunded. I explained the difficulty in taking this approach as my family member is an extremely busy executive and usually never available for something as little as paying me back $224.00. Finally I got an email back from Jennifer saying that they've attempted to contact the family member the refund had been paid out to but weren't able to connect (no surprise) she then suggested I just take care of collecting the money myself or have him call into the office. I find the whole situation frustrating, I likely will not be getting my money back because of the lack of caring on the part of Goodlife. Logic would say in this day in age a refund is paid back to the place where the money was collected. I found the customer service around helping me fix this situation was terrible, I will never purchase another packages of anything from the company. The failure in delivering on the class i purchased followed by the two months of chasing down a refund I'll never probably see has been disappointing and a failure in customer service.
