I was a long time fan of Mr. Copperfield and always thought he was a fantastic showman. I bought front row seats for my girlfriend's birthday - spent a LOT of money on them - and was excited for the show. Copperfield couldn't have been less interested about being on stage, couldn't care less about entertaining his audience, or more apathetic about his own story and magic. SNOOZE! He seemed like he was thinking "just another year of this Sh*t and I'm OUT!" the whole time he was on stage. The entire show was lack-lustre and painfully un-inspiring as he simply marked time, probably thinking about his shopping list while unemotionally delivering a story about his long dead father. And the irony is the show was all about daring to do the unimaginable. For Copperfield the unimaginable seemed to be enjoying himself. It was almost like he was being held captive and forced to do his show in some foreign prison. I will never recommend this show to anyone, but instead recommend to Mr. Copperfield: you're rich enough to quit, so get out if you don't love it, you're wasting a lot of good people's hard earned money! Boo!
