I'm an avid gym goer who visits this club almost every day at various times throughout the week. I've been a member since they opened earlier this year and I'm here writing this review after my voice has gone unheard by 4 members of the staff including a manager. Overall the club has a tremendous view and brand new equipment so what's not to like? Let me tell you, the hygiene and cleanliness in the men's locker room/steam area/showers is something left to be desired. Today for the second time in less than a week I stepped into a shower after a workout to see yet another used discarded bandaid on the shower floor. Couple this with the assortment of empty shampoo bottles and used towels laying in the area along with drains which seem to have never been cleaned since the club was opened. The steam room is no better. At any given time there is a black sludge visible with the naked eye on the floor at all times. I've mentioned these issues over the past few months to different members of the staff and have seen little improvement. I don't expect the worlds best health club for what I'm paying but these seem like standard issues that need to be addressed.
All is not lost. The staff does listen which is why this review is a 3 out of 5. During peak hours towels were at a premium if one was able to secure one at all. They bought more towels and seem to be doing a better job with keeping up with demand.
This club needs a little TLC to be great again. My hope is this review will bring a renewed focus on the cleanliness of the locker rooms.
