  • Amazing! It was an accidental find because it was snowing outside and freezing we decided to go inside after the streetcar hadn't come for 15 mins. They have taken over one of the units on queen west and john's cafeteria style building. We walked in because of Bakeryhaus and thinking about picking up a croissant or macaron but we immediately got turned around by the sugar glistening and smells of warm honey wafting over across the hall. We went by and the one of the 2 owners were offering samples to some customers in front of us. We tried their basic baklava and loved it, it wasn't too sweet and just melted in our mouths. We immediately picked up a chocolate version of their original. Next time I go back I'll pick up a whole box of different varieties because a day later i'm still thinking about it. Better than the ones I've tried from Mississauga restaurants, not massed produced and each type has it's own flavor.
