My husband wanted to try this place based on the 'wood-burning oven' sign so we stopped in recently for dinner. I'm not sure what they cook in the wood-fired oven because it wasn't anything we had. Maybe the pizzas? We didn't even know they had pizza until we saw someone leaving with a take-out box and asked. The pizza is listed on a separate menu and we were not given that menu.
The service was friendly. Our waiter (Alberto the owner?) took our order but did not write it down. He forgot what we ordered and had to come back to confirm a couple minutes later. We had:
- Baby artichokes with parmesan - not an attractive dish and the artichokes were tough and woody.
- Lasagna - My husband said it was ok.
- Chicken Parmigiana - I ate only part of this. The breading was soggy and the chicken was dry and over cooked.
We were disappointed.
