  • Until today the only Discount Tire I have been to is on Lake Mead between Buffalo and Tenaya (and always good experiences over there too). After visiting the store on E Tropicana today I'm fairly certain that all of the Discount Tires would give me a great experience overall and that it has not been luck at just one store. I decided to take the car to work today. Just my luck as soon as I parked not more than an hour later my co-workers were talking about a white car parked outside with a flat tire. Go figure... I'm the only guy with a white car. So after work I drove to the nearest Discount Tire on a doughnut. Once parked and inside (clean place too, free bottled water to drink, will be thankful for that in the summer!) Frank greeted me right away. After taking my info and asking where my bad tire was I threw him for a curve just as I was thrown one today. Back history... a few visits ago one of my wheel studs was damaged while rotating my tires and was repaired. However, the wheel nut was replaced with an incorrect size as I found out today when putting on my space. When I attempted to remove my wheel after work I was surprised to find this out. Luckily I was able to borrow some tools from work to remove and replace the wheel. So back to the store. I informed Frank of my issue and asked if there was anyway he could replace the wheel nut with a used one that would fit. I'm not picky on looks, I just wanted a nut that could be removed on the side of the road with the factory tire repair kit. Less than 30 minutes later my car was ready. All 5 tires were checked for air. The nail was removed from my tire and the tire patched. AND the wheel nut was replaced free of charge! The service manager, Frank Keaney, nvl_18mgr@discounttire.com, who finished up with me asked if everything was OK with the visit today if I could pass out his business cards to whomever needed tire service. I already knew I would do one better and take the time to write about my experience on Yelp. So there you have it. Another great experience with Discount Tire. The next time you need tires or wheels make them your first stop.
