  • I am writing this review together with my husband because I have seen way too many bad ones regarding Dr Raissi with Desert Orthopedic Center. This man was a Godsend for my husband who ruptured his right Achilles tendon in December, 2014. We went to an orthopedic surgeon who referred us to Dr. Raissi because he specifically worked with ankle surgeries. We had an x-ray done initially at his primary care physician's office that didn't show anything. We eventually went for an MRI which indicated the the rupture in his right Achilles tendon. Dr. Raissi and his staff, LJ and Alaya, were all very professional, courteous and helpful. In addition, Dr. Raissi does have a great bedside manner and completely made us feel at ease. My husband also has anxiety in general and Dr. Raissi helped to quell his fears about surgery. Because of a complication in waiting to have the surgery done that had nothing to do with Dr Raissi or the Center and which was due to matters beyond our control, my husband ended up not having a typical surgery for his injury. Dr Raissi was able to work around that without any difficulty though. Today my husband walks without a limp and praises Dr. Raissi's talented hands.
