Toscana is a great Italian upscale restaurant. It's a little pricy; however, everything is delicious and fresh (pasta is made in house every day!). We got the gnocchi, buttera, lasagna, and the calamari to start.
The gnocchi was in huge fresh pieces with real mozzarella and basil. It was the best gnocchi I've ever had!
The lasagna was fresh and hot. Again, house made pasta. I didn't try much but my friend who got it LOVED it!
Finally, the buttera. It was SO GOOD! Penne with tomato cream sauce (so thick and fresh) and Italian sausage. This was my favorite of our three pastas; it was also our server's favorite!
Also, our table loved the calamari. I myself can't eat seafood, but the zucchini sticks and tomato dip were delicious!
Another nice touch was the bread and bean dip at the beginning! Both so good. And upon hearing it was my friend's birthday, our server brought out a little slice of tiramisu!
Overall, Toscana was an excellent choice for a celebratory dinner with a few friends. I could also see it working for date night or even a party! I will definitely be returning.
