  • Dinner and a show. I'm giving two stars bc the food was excellent, everything else was horrible. Our server was slow as in extremely slow and forgetful. We were seated in the lower middle portion of the restaurant, the elevate area behind us a had a large extremely loud party seated. While attempting to enjoy our meal we suddenly hear a group of females screaming only to have things escalate to the females engaging in a physical altercation. The large group was suddenly directly next to our table with everyone screaming and cursing. During this physical altercation not a single employee of Cantina 1511 bothered to address this issue. There was a server who I believed to be the server of this large group in the area laughing during the altercation. One person from this large group walked out after the altercation but not before a bit more screaming directly next to our table. The large group minus one of the females involved in the altercation sat back down still yelling and acting in a disorderly manner. There were a few tables that had recently been seated got up and walked out at this point. Servers severs were standing at the reps between the upper and middle area laughing as these tables walked out. Never once did a manager or any staff member come by and apologize for the scene. Nor did they bother to address this extremely loud large group at anytime. Bc our meal was ruined by this large loud group we decided to stop eating and take our food home. We as well as the table next to us waited a good while for our server to appear to request to go boxes. We finally get our to go boxes only to wait another 10 minutes for him to resurface to request our check. It's possible this server is new and if that's the case same on Cantina 1511 for doing a better job of training. It's really too bad these events transpired tonight as we'd been planning to dine here for several months as we'd been given rave reviews of the food. The food based on our few bites so far has been fantastic. I totally understand Cantina 1511 isn't at fault for the behavior of their guest, what they are at fault for is 1) not requesting this group to leave the resturant, especially after they continued to be so loud other diners walked out. 2) for addressing this altercation with each individual table in the same area as the altercation. It's doubtful we will return to dine again bc of the above reasons.
