  • Not a bad neighborhood bar. Delivers the basics. I refuse to accept the powerful danky smell mentioned by MrK that seems inherent to every dive bar including this one, though. There are some great dive bars that feature the Dank, yes, like Bikini and Seamus. But come on! Clean the goddamn toilets, unclog the pipes, install a new sink or whatever. I'm glad I came here to satisfy my curiosity. But curiosity is pretty much the only reason to come here, which leaves no reason to ever come back. Hanratty's doesn't make much of an effort to spruce things up for people who don't live within stumbling distance, and I'm personally a lover of Rosie's anyway which is right across the street.
