My husband and I stopped for two tattoos, one for epilepsy awareness purple ribbon and my husband, a caduceus with blue for diabetes awareness. During the tattoo processing we interacted with our artist, Penny. We laughed, we were silly and serious . We paid a hefty price for the tattoos and a rather generous tip. Within a week my tat got infected. I had called the shop and left a message for a return call. I didn't receive one. I called again and asked for her direct number as the infection was not only slow to heal, the color washed away. No return call. I asked for the manager, sent her pictures and amazingly received a call from Penny. After expressing my feeling of being abandoned after feeling so confident with her. She sounded as if she genuinely cared and even said she would fix it after the healing. Of course she never called me again. When I did reach her I let her know what a good bullshitter she was and how disappointed with the tattoo I was. The colors are barely there and the lines are really wonky. I will have someone else fix it or live with it. What I hate more than anything, being duped by someone. I was really fooled. BTW, my husbands tattoo looked really good but after healing the lines blew out but it's no terrible and some lines were way off, but he still likes it. Just tell her what you want and if she talks like she cares about you, I would doubt it
