  • I think the 2 1/2 Stars here is a little unfair for this Hotel and Casino. At the very least it's a very strong 3 Stars, if I could give it 3.75 I would. Can't quite get to 4 but this is a solid fun casino and Four Queens will be happy to know my wife and I lost money gambling there this year. Wait...... when we came here earlier in the year we won a little bit. But the Four Queens is ahead for 2017. We'll see what happens when we visit Four Queen's again next year. I like this place. I read some of the not so good reviews of this place and I have to say most of them are silly. The hotel and casino world of Las Vegas the Fremont Street Experience and "the Strip" are very different places. You have to keep this in mind when staying in the Las Vegas area. Some people complained about the noise. LOOK AT FREMONT STREET, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT!!! Really? The hotels here are right on top of the action, that is part of the allure of the Fremont St. Hotels. I'm also sure most of them asked for a Fremont St. view. Be observant. LOOK AT ALL THISE GIGANTIC SPEAKERS EVERYWHERE. Those speakers are going to make noise. Here is something kool about the Four Queens, you can ask for a room away from these speakers and they have a lot of these rooms. Nearly 700 rooms here. The regular rooms here or for that matter in any of the Fremont Street area are not going to be as nice as most of the Strip hotels. But let me tell you something. In 2017 one trip We stayed at the Bellagio (for 2016/2017) New Years and in November 2017 we stayed at the Aria. For what I paid for a single night at the Bellagio or Aria I could have stayed at the Four Queens for nearly a full week. While these rooms were nice, I spent very little time in them. I stayed at the Four Queens years ago and the room was not spectacular but it was clean, comfortable and ok. From my room at the Four Queens it was a couple hundred feet to the fun on Fremont Street. From my room at the Aria or the Bellagio it was like a 500 mile walk from my room to the Strip. Here's something else, there are just as many if not more silly drunks and weirdos wobbling around the Strip as Fremont Street you just don't notice it as much because the Strip is so spread out while Fremont Street Experience area is so compact. If you really pay attention you will see this. Believe me there are more weirdos walking the Strip. Another thing nice about the Four Queens Location, from this casino I am within just a few minute walk to about 12 different hotels and casinos, tons of restaurants and buffets all kinds of shops, zip lines and more. You'd have to walk a ton to hit that many hotels and casinos and experiences on the Strip. The Four Queens has some very nice dinning options as well. Subway is always nice, need Pizza a decent pizza joint, and several other nice places. Well folks then there is Hugo's Cellar. Ahh yes Hugo's. The are a billion restaurants in Las Vegas but only two that I would consider "bucket list" restaurants. These are Gordon Ramsey's at the Paris and Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens. I haven't eaten here in a while but it hasn't changed and it's been here for years and kept its name through many owners. The first time I came here it wasn't Hugo's Cellar but it was Hugo's something I can't remember. But...GUYS THE RAT PACK GUYS LIKED THIS JOINT AND ATE HERE. It's been great forever. It's an old school Vegas treat, every women that walks in gets a rose, tuxedoed waiters, table-side service, just like the old days. This place it a walk back in time. I didn't get the chance this year to eat there this last visit was Gordon Ramsey's (See my review for Gordon Ramsey's) for us but it's on the top of my list when I come back in 2018 and I will post that review right away. If it's anything like it was last time I ate here and people says it still is, it will be a 5 Star review. If your only a Strip visitor and not into the Fremont Street Experience area of Vegas, believe me when I say you got to come here. Anyway, table games have low minimums, penny slots decent size gaming floor. Even though we stayed on the Strip our last couple visits we spent a lot of time at the Fremont Street Experience casinos and probably gambled at the Four Queens the most. Most likely in 2018 we'll stay on the Strip again but one evening will be dinner at Hugo's Cellar and gambling at the Four Queens.
