Visited mid-afternoon on Saturday.
Greeted/seated immediately.
Received menus and updates. Water poured and a carafe of ice water left on the table. Nice thought.
Ordered wine from a pretty good list of choices.
I had Grilled Trout Salad. Wow! Two large trout filets and various greens and salad stuff. Great dressing (actually my server suggested two, served on the side.)
Other items ordered at our table: French Onion Soup, Cheddar Cheese/Beer soup (Exceptional), GW, Sophia and Ernest sandwiches.
A major part of any dining experience is the server interaction. Hannah was enthusiastic, friendly and full of suggestions. Just the right amount... not invasive; not indifferent. Observations indicated that service around the room seemed very efficient.
Manager checked-in to make sure that everything was going well.
Interesting menu items that beg for a return visit. Very good service, food and atmosphere. Bright and cheerful, even with the dark wood tones.
I have never been to the old Elbow Room. I'll definitely be back to the new Elbow Room. You should go too.
("Elbow Room"? Yeah, you actually have room on your table for other things. Not some wobbly 2X2 foot pretend table!)
(Men's Room: very clean.) Thank you Elbow Room staff.
(Nice looking bar, too.)
