  • This is an organization that keeps children out of the foster care system when their parents are going through difficult times. I have donated and they are very prompt and courteous. A much better place to donate Un needed items. I haven't visited there thrift shop so I can't give them five stars. I hear their prices are a bit high. But so are GoodwillsI. I know most people just call Goodwill but they do not even pay their mentally challenged employees. Minimum-wage. The government( hard-working taxpayers) picks up the tab for the underpayment deficit . Goodwill says they say they provide job training but I know someone who tried to get into their "job training" for two years and never could. Their upper management makes six figures plus plus plus so to me somebody must be making a profit. I am happy that I found sunshine acres because I know that the money generated will go to a great cause and save tax dollars.
