  • Went in for a simple fix on (pricey orthodic) house slippers that have a velcro flap..i just wanted to sew them shut because they kept coming apart. Ok so 2 min sew job $8, ok fine, but oops they dont take credit cards ( in 2015). Ok so I only have $5 cash on me, can you cut me a break or let me pay the $3 balance next time Im in the area because I dont have an ATM card on me and I would have to drive across town and back for $3? NO! we have to pay rent and bills, leave your shoes here and come back with 3more dollars. I mean really, the pettiest ppl ever. At the same time an older woman came in with a very inexpensive duffle bag with a broken handle strap... it was made of plastics..and he wanted to charge her $55!!! She spoke spanish so I tried to help her with translation and she said she could buy 2 new bags for that money. Yes indeed. I love to support mom and pop biz but these ppl are just GREEDY. AVOID.
