I went to my neighborhood Petsmart to pick up food for my cat. He usually uses the Science Diet Urinary Care brand, but as it is quite expensive I decided to venture onto something different. A bag was placed in the wrong spot which I realized after I purchased, so my $12.99 bag was actually $25.99. I checked my receipt and noticed the difference so I hopped online while sat in my car to see if I had been wrong... online the same size bag I chose was $19.79. I head in for my refund.
They get me to sign up for pet perks and she informs me that because I did this, the bag went from $25.99 to $22.99. What is the point of signing up for a perk program when the perks are not even as good as the price online? Also, why is there a $6 difference between online/in-store? This only makes you look like an untrustworthy company.
Furthermore, the girl with short blonde hair who came up and put her key in the keyboard (to manually override) that suddenly made her feel important- publicly scolding your employees is hardly the right way to go about teaching them the correct way of doing a return. Shame on you.
