| - Made an appointment for three people for one of their spa packages, about a week in advance. I asked specifically whether they would be able to accommodate all three of us at the same time and in the same room, and the lady taking my reservation assured me that there would be no problem accommodating us.
Fast forward to the day of the appointment: we arrived about 5-10 minutes early at what we assumed was the spa - there was no sign outside with the actual name of the spa, so we weren't entirely sure we were in the right place. There was a sign inside though, and the inside looked clean enough and the decor was nice enough, but when we got to the counter to check in, they seemed very disorganized. They found our appointment, but we stood at the counter for some time before one of the staff told us to take a seat because there was some sort of problem. The same staff member offered us something to drink (juice, tea, water), which was a nice touch, but there was something wanting in their attitude and overall professionalism.
We then waited almost half an hour past our scheduled appointment time, only to have them finally tell us that they could not accommodate us as we agreed, and that one of us would basically have to be separate from the other two for the entire day because only two technicians were available. This was definitely NOT the point of planning a spa day with three people. They even went as far as to blame the other customers (who had an appointment before us) for coming in late, instead of taking responsibility for the supposed double booking and figuring out a solution.
I can't speak as to the quality of the actual massage or nail care as we had left the spa at that point. It wasn't until about 5-10 minutes after we had left that they called me, trying to offer a discount for us to come back a different day. However, we had booked on this particular day and at that particular time because it was the only slot that would work for our schedules. Besides, we had an appointment the first time, and it wasn't honoured, nor did they seem organized enough to handle bookings in general, so I highly doubt the second experience will be any better.
I would definitely NOT recommend this place. For the price you're paying, I'm sure there are plenty of other places that will be more attentive, more professional, and much less stressful than this place, which, after all, is what a spa is for.
