The hostess were nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was great. The server and her assistant were both awsome The knights game on which was a bonus. They started us off with chips, beans and salsa. Their green salsa is really good. And they give you a plate of sautaide jalapeƱos and onions. We ordered a lovelady to drink. We ordered the chicken fingers and fries for my daughter. My boyfriend asked the server if they had carnitas as an option for a chimichanga ( it's not an option on the menu) and she said yes, so he ordered that with rice and beans. I ordered chicken mulitas. They start you off with video soup.
The beer was good. Served in an iced glass. The kids tenders and fries were great. My mulitas were really good, but they're hard to eat. It gets a bit messy. My boyfriend took a couple bites but didn't like his chimichanga. The carnitas weren't what he expected. They were a bit dry and weren't the shredded soft kind hes used to so he didnt eat it. He let the server know and sent it back. She asked if she could get him something else but he declined. When we got our check we were still being charged for the chimichanga even tho he sent it back. He talked to the manager Mimi. Her answer was, " you should have asked for the shredded carnitas." She made it clear that she believed she was right and the customer was wrong. She came to the table and offered 50% off the chimichanga meal. I asked her why if they had two types of carnitas it's not on the menu ot wasnt mentuoned by the server. She was very quick to say that other restaurants do it different ,but they have two types. Again i asked, if you have two types why wasn't it mentioned. She said she thought 50% was fair because we also had chips and soup. I asked her why she was arguing with me if all i was asking was why if theres two types of carnitas it's not mentioned upon ordering. She mentioned that she still believed that 50 was fair but that if we wanted off the check she would take it off. She walked away with the check and came back with it off our check. We don't go to restaurants to get a free meal. We go to have an experience and try amazing food. A customers feed back should be most important to a restaurand and it's managers. We didn't apreciate Mimis attitude. I loved everything else about the restaurant but vecause her unappreciative and rude attitude, we will not be back. She ruined our experience.
