Let me just say that the food was delicious. But that isn't what this review is going to be about. That's right, I'm going rogue.
First of all, I'm a nerd for maps and this place has a killer map of the world made out of nails. I'm probably going to copy this idea and do it at my own house when I actually buy one.
The coolest part of all this is that the waiter was willing to talk to us about the place. It is a new place, so that's probably typical, but it's always cool when you can tell that the staff is proud to work at a place. He had been there from the very beginning of the restaurant helping get the place setup.
The only sad part of all this is that ...
1. I don't live in Madison anymore, so I can't return regularly (ode to 43 North).
2. I miss Cafe Continental. Bad. The potatoes they served with breakfast cannot be topped. Absolutely delicious.
RIP Cafe Continental Potatoes
p.s. 43 North is the latitude of Madtown. Again, my love of maps...
