The hotel is an odd mix of old and new. While everything else in town was booked full, the Park Inn had an odd amount of room availability. The rate was reasonable for a hotel in the region however, there were several unsettling issues with the room.
Floors and walls shows a considerable amount of ware, stains, etc. The room lighting was impossible to figure out and despite trying every switch in the room, there were several places with the room itself (a relatively large room btw) that was in near darkness.
There were two HD flatscreen tv's in the room however there were only a handful of low res channels to choose from.
The beds were the Sleep Number beds and worked well however the remote for one of the beds was not functioning.
The bathroom, although large had such poor lighting that it was very difficult to shave with.
The air conditioning unit had a wall mounted thermostat that didn't work and despite the settings (other than on/off) on the wall/window unit did either nothing or blow ice cold air regardless of settings chosen.
I would only stay here again if I had no other choice in the area.
