| - As good as the food is here, I was wondering why this restaurant had 3 1/2 stars. Today I went in and the waitress sold me on onion rings. When my meal came out, I only had six onion rings on my plate. Six? I didn't think this was a big enough deal to flag somebody down and issue a complaint, but when the waitress came and asked me how things were with my meal, I told her about my concern of six onion rings. I told her for a $12 meal I should have much more onion rings and six, she made an excuse that they give onion rings based on their size. I picked up an onion ring that was no bigger than about an inch and a half from end to end and I showed it to her. It didn't seem to motivate her to respond. She apologized and went about her business. Then when I got my bill, I was up charged an additional dollar for the onion rings. Wow! $13 for a regular size burger and six onion rings. The food is good, the burger tasted great, and the onion rings were nice and crispy, but $13 for the quantity, that is an issue. Maybe at a five-star resort, but not at a regular restaurant. And I would've gladly paid $15 if the portions were abundant. I spoke to the manager and shared my concern out of courtesy for the next customer. His response to me was those plates should be heaping on your plate. He proceeded to offer me more food, but I had already paid my bill and was on my way out the door. I told him if the waitress offered me more I would've taken it but I'm kind of glad she didn't because now the issue could be addressed more thoroughly. I left the waitress a full tip of 20% even though I didn't feel she was looking out for my best interest. I told the manager next time I'm hungry and I'm approaching your restaurant I'm not entirely certain I would stop knowing that I am not going to be fully taken care of. I would rather keep driving and go somewhere else. Again, to Burger Theory's credit the food is good, but the portions are in question for the price. Thanks for reading
