| - This has been one of my favorite go-to places for lunch. The service is always spot-on, and for some reason is never crowded. This time of year, I love their vine-covered patio. On occasion, the music can be a little loud for business conversation, but they generally accommodate our request to lighten it a bit.
The food is amazing. I try not to fall into a rut, but I love, love, love their lunch special - which is 1/2 salad and 1/2 pasta or panini. I love their gnocchi (lovely, light pillows of yumminess); their lasagna (cheesy heaven); their raviolis are amazing, especially the butternut squash.
They have a huge assortment of salads, yet I constantly choose the SoCal Love - butter lettuce, chicken, sprouts, and avocado with a lovely light dressing. It perfectly compliments the pasta.
The one challenge I have every time I go - some of the ingredients and cooking methods are words I've never heard (and I used to think I was a foodie). It never fails that I have to use Siri to look up words from the menu just to make sure I'm not surprised or embarrassed! Please tell me I'm not the only one.
I'm nor sure why I never think of this restaurant for dinner - but I'm going to try that soon!
