rev:text	My experience today was so good that I hopped off the subway, came in my apartment and went straight on here to document it. This is in reference to the Spa My Blend at the Ritz. It is by far the best spa experience I have ever had in Toronto. Firstly, the people who work there are so nice. The whole experience was filled with politeness but not only that, also FRIENDLINESS, which can be hard to come by at a more upscale hotel/spa. The staff were very personable, from the people at the front desk to my massage therapist. Everything is neat and tidy, there are infused water stations located throughout and the spa itself is quite big. There is a quiet women's relaxation room and a mixed gender relation room. They provide snacks such as dried fruit, apples and almonds. They also have a great selection of teas. The robes are extremely comfortable: terry lined but linen on top, they are lightweight and fitted. I did not venture to the salt water pool. We went to the spa jacuzzi, and the sauna. Both of them were lovely. The sauna is large, warm and inviting. We then waited for our treatments in the relaxation room for women, where there are beds with blankets and reading material, along with the snacks and tea mentioned above. You can also order lunch from a spa menu. I had a 1.5 hour massage and it was AMAZING. You start with your feet wrapped in a hot, lavender towel. They also put one on your neck AND they put a hot lavender compress on your back. The massage therapist had excellent technique and I left feeling very loose. The part I loved most was the lavender infused eye pillow they give you. Additionally, at the end of your massage they lift the bed up so you are sitting upright, which is the most wonderful touch. It is always hard to get up after a massage of that length, but with the assistance in elevation it was easy. The massage therapist also gave me advice on stretches I could do to ease my tightness in the future. Afterwards, I had a nice shower (their showers are HUGE and rain-style and just far too awesome). The products are great. The staff are great. The facilities are great. I will definitely be back!
