We enjoyed our stay at Planet Hollywood. A friend seemed to have allergies everytime she was in the room, so that was a bummer. We loved the Miracle Mile shops since they had everything one could possibly need without requiring us to leave the hotel. We also really loved their little cafe called Planet Dailies for breakfast. The food was awesome.
The Pools:
-The pools close at 7pm!! (We were bummed since we wanted to float around after dinner w/ some drinks)
-2 Pools on 6th floor (the 18+ pool was featured on "Knocked Up")
-6th floor pools do not have much seating adjacent to the pool. You will need to get to the pools before 10am if you plan to have a good spot or plan on renting a cabana for the day for about $200 (includes a fruit bowl & wait service)
-The pool on the main level (featured on Holly's World) which belongs to the West Tower we were told is accessible to guests staying at the hotel. It's much prettier, but plan on having your buns on display since a Miracle Mile throughfare runs alongside the entire pool.
The Gym:
I didn't go because I was feeling cheap. $25 to use the gym for one day! A fair amount of people run/walk along the strip in the morning. We found this to be an entertaining substitute.
