I stayed here for three days while traveling through on a road trip. It was the cheapest in town, but it was NOT a good value.
- The first room I was assigned smelled so bad that I asked for a second. That room had a slight smell that one would notice for the first 5 minutes upon returning to the room.
- Signs in the lobby indicated that police canine units frequented the facility (they did not), but police were heard on load speakers each night asking vagrants to leave.
- This motel is clearly a place frequently by people who couldn't afford to live in standard apartments.
- I had to use my shoulder to open the room door (which had clearly been repaired poorly) and the lock was partly broken requiring one to hold down the inner handle, then the outer handle in order to close the door when leaving.
- The tub was poorly refinished in a way that made the tub floor about 5 inches higher than the bathroom floor which made getting in and out of the shower awkward.
- WiFi was a paid extra each 24 hours, and sometimes didn't work at all.
The one good thing I can say about this place is that the staff were very friendly and professional... but this isn't enough of a consolation for anyone but the absolutely most cost-conscience.
