| - We booked Gray Lines tours online for a tour of The Grand Canyon - West Rim for $165 for Saturday, 5-26-18, memorial weekend.
The large bus picked us up from our hotel at 6:05am, and drove us to the terminal. The bus picks up guests, so it's direct, but your seating of the bus is reserved.
Once we arrived at the terminal, we upgraded to the VIP Mercedes Limo Bus which seats 12 passengers, instead of the large tour bus of 60 people. It was $100 extra per person, so $210 total with taxes. You have access to the VIP lounge, which has a complimentary continental breakfast: juice, danish, croissants, fruit, coffee, water. A lunch is provided (Skywalk Cafe) I definitely recommend this because you will arrive back to your hotel around 5:30pm, instead of 7:00pm. They do sell out, so book ahead and purchase the VIP prior to your trip. Comfortable ride also with less people.
Terminal also has food for purchase and clean restrooms.
We left about 7:36am, and drove to Hoover Dam for about 20 min for pictures.
Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon is about 125 miles, 2 hours 25 min drive.
We then had another pit stop before we reached the Grand Canyon.
We arrived at the Grand Canyon around 11:00am. Our driver Max, got our tickets for us to tour 3 spots once you are at the Main Post of the Grand Canyon. You go to another bus line owned and operated by the Hualapai Tribe, and they stop at each stop. They run about every 5 min. So really no wait. We had to be back by 2:45pm at the Main Post, to be picked up by our Gray line Bus.

Please Note, the Sky Walk is included. You can not take pictures though, you put your hats, backpacks and cell phone in a locked locker. They take pictures of you once you are in the skywalk, and they are $16 for each printed photo. When we arrived, there was a line, but only about a 15 minute wait, but another line for the photo, which was 45 min, which we did not do.
The Hualapai Tribe has done a terrific job in the improvement of visiting the Grand Canyon. All restroom facilities were clean. Breath taking view of the Grand Canyon. Food was good, and a lot of beautiful Native Amercan crafts and souvenirs.
After the 2:45pm pick up, the Limo Bus stoped for a restroom stop (2 times). One place was "Last Stop" Bullets and Burgers, which had awesome souvenirs and a gun range.
This is a must see, and the price for the Gray Lines is excellent with the VIP Mercedes Limo Bus. Max was our driver, and we totally enjoyed our trip. Weather was perfect (75 degrees). All restroom stops were clean. I recommend this bus tour.
