I had been driving past this place for a few weeks noticing the changes and improvements happening inside. I finally had a chance to visit this past weekend only three weeks after opening. It was a Saturday afternoon and we found ourselves on the east side and thought where can we go for A nice snack and a drink? That's when masthead brewing caught my mind and we went for it. Upon entering I noticed it has a similar feel to many of the new brewing companies with large spaces and rustic slash industrial touches. But after getting our sampler of delicious beers, and a pizza to share did I notice that this place spared no expense in the details. First of all the beers are done very nicely,
I myself enjoyed the IPA, it was a West Coast styled IPA very hoppy and bitter to the palate, but delicious. My better half enjoyed the wit, which was also delicious and light and had a citrus flavor that would go excellent on the hot days of summer. The pizza was very artisinal and delicious as well, a red pie with mozzarella and pepperoni we decided to keep it basic and were not disappointed at all. We Also had a salad that was amazing. That's when we began discussing the size of this place, and all of the extras and realized they spared no expense. This space is going to be awesome this summer before and after ball games or events. It will easily hold a few hundred. If you glance up to the ceiling you will notice the Bose sound system that plays the tunes, sounds so great and you know it didn't come cheap. That's what makes this place different than others in the same vein. That's what will keep the reviews high and the people coming back to enjoy their visit here. Way to go masthead, can't wait to see and drink you again!
