  • I can't speak for other doctors at Valley ENT, but I know Dr. Jordan Weiner has a scheduling problem! My first appt., THEY called and asked me to come in an hour early. I did. After arriving early and waiting 15 minutes, I asked when they would be getting me in. They told me to come back an hour later, at my original scheduled time. I did. When I came back I got in 45 minutes late. A week later I had an appt. for a follow up. With a tight schedule, I called to see if he was running on time and they said he was an hour behind. I rescheduled for a morning appt., hoping it'd be better. I went early to my morning appt. only to be seen 30 minutes late. When Dr. Weiner came in I calmly expressed my frustration with every appt. being late and suggested there was a scheduling problem. He turned into a jerk! After giving me a speech about how he doesn't cut patients off when they're speaking to keep his appointments on time, he said he'd rather be late and help patients. I told him I appreciated his attempt to give good service but that running late was a sign there was a scheduling issue. He talked over me and then rudely proceeded to conduct the appt., apparently offended that I complained, thinking his time was more valuable than mine. To blame patients for habitually running late or not being able to manage their time is absolutely absurd! To get frustrated with someone bringing it to your attention is a sign of personal issues unrelated to your on time patients. His issues, personal or professional, are not my problem. Unfortunately for all of us who'd like to have a completely flexible schedule determined at will; the real world doesn't operate that way! Apparently, based on Dr. Weiner's reaction to my criticism, he doesn't believe he operates in the real world. Anyone who shows such little regard for my time and is rude on top of it, isn't someone I will engage with. Dr. Weiner seems to be a good enough doctor but he's a very inconsiderate person. I acknowledge, that in medicine, emergencies arise causing scheduling issues. I can appreciate that but, to my knowledge, this was not the reason. No one ever said that or apologized for being late.
