I wish they had negative stars to describe my experience with the hotel. We were required to stay here for our softball tournament and booked a room with 2 queen beds so my daughter would have a place to sleep. The hotel called us at around 5:30 pm and didn't leave a message. I called them back immediately to make sure that there wasn't an issue with our room. The gentleman who answered was very reassuring and told me there was no issue with my reservation and that he would add notes for a late check-in and make sure our room was held since we were still at the softball fields. When we arrived at the hotel to get our room. We were informed by the lady at the front desk who had the looks and personality of someone who's parents had met on ancestry.com that our only option was a king bed smoking or non-smoking. Our room had been given to someone else, even though they insisted that our room was not given away because they had a single king bed room available. The manager and employee continued to inform us that when you book with any of the Station Properties that your room choice is simply a preference and not guaranteed. That the room choice is really first come first serve and there is no real promise to give you the "bedding type" that you paid for. They told us that we could not have our money back and that they would charge us if we chose to stay or not. So to summarize our experience; never ever stay at the Texas Station hotel. Apparently all the Station Casinos feel the same way so beware of booking at any of their properties.
