  • I travel from South Carolina to receive care at Louis Stokes VA Medical Center Wade Park Campus because of the great service and friendly personnel that this facility has to offer veterans. As one of the nation's largest VA Medical Centers, it is clean, modern, and full of Ohio's mid-western friendly atmosphere. It also utilizes the excellent medical staff from Cleveland Clinic; medical staff that has put Cleveland on the world's map for outstanding medical care. There is never a problem with getting an appointment scheduled for me around my schedule of when I can come up from SC to my home town near Cleveland. Louis Stokes VA Medical Center makes me proud to be a Clevelander! I wish other VA Medical Centers would use Louis Stokes VA Medical Center as their model.
