  • I stopped by Holly's last week for some post-lunch cookies - VERY smart move. I love the mini-cookies they sell there- first of all they are adorable, and second of all they taste amazing. I got the 6 cookies for $2 deal- 2 each of the lemon (buttery shortbread cookies with creamy lemon frosting), black and white (shortbread half-dipped in smooth chocolate- reminded me of New York) and peanut butter (perfect amount of peanut butter). My favorites were probably the peanut butter, but it was hard to play favorites since all were delish! I saw the sign on the door about their pulled pork sandwiches on Saturdays, will for sure have to go back for that. Holly also showed me her fresh out of the oven mini-peach pies with cheddar crumble topping, HOLY COW why haven't I thought of that combo?! Yep, I'll definitely need to try those too... I love baking and cooking but don't seem to have the time to do this as often as I'd like, so it's great to have found a place that tastes like home cooking and a restaurant owner and environment that are so welcoming!
