  • I've lived here for about 6 months now and it's been really great so far. The move in process was very simple and Amber was very helpful all along the way. She was very nice, honest, and accommodating. The apartment itself is a pretty standard apartment. It's not luxury, but it's still a very decent place to live. It's located in a very nice part of Henderson, with plenty of shopping centers nearby. Plus, they let you paint your walls (assuming you paint them back before you leave), which makes the apartment look much better! The apartments are located in a great, somewhat private location. There is plenty of parking, so you never have to worry about finding a parking spot nearby. The grounds are kept clean, and maintenance is pretty prompt. They have a 24 hour gym, which is useful. My neighbors have been very nice and respectful. This place gets really quiet at night. If you want a quiet, safe, affordable, and decent place to live near stores and restaurants, this place is for you! I'd like to address some of the issues that other tenants have brought up, because I really disagree with what is being said here. 1. There was a mild ant problem during the summer, but it was never remotely close to being problematic. The most ants I would see would be half a dozen wandering around. They are really tiny too. During the winter, I basically don't see any at all. 2. If the staff here charges you a 3% fee to pay your rent with a credit card, it's because they themselves would be charged that processing fee. They're not in the business of losing money, so of course they're going to pass that fee on to a tenant who *chooses* to pay their rent with credit cards. Most landlords would not even take credit card payments, so consider yourself lucky that they'll do it at all. 3. I have not had any issues with break ins, nor have I seen any of my neighbors have that issue. I'm not saying that they don't happen - no neighborhood is immune to crime, but it's not a problem in this area. The reviewers admit they aren't even victims of burglaries themselves, they're just reporting rumors. How do you complain about something that you heard happened to someone else? Even at night this place seems quiet and normal. I don't see suspicious people hanging around. 4. There was never a community center advertised here, so I'm not sure what this other individual is going on about. I also don't think he understands that the apartments don't come with internet and you have to order that yourself. 5. I wouldn't say that they take short cuts. I would say that these apartments are kind of old so their age shows. You really can't have it both ways - you either want affordable rent or upgraded apartments. Remodeling costs money, which means raising rent. I'd rather my cabinets have a couple cracks (and still function!) than pay more rent. I honestly think that most people giving negative reviews either don't understand how things work or just have a really bad attitude. I've had nothing but positive experiences with the staff here, so I can't understand why people talk negatively of them. If tenants experienced a negative interaction with the staff, it's because the tenants were the aggressive and unreasonable ones. They make unreasonable demands thinking "the customer is always right". Be respectful, and you'll get that in return from them.
