  • I got stuck with the job of coordinating a girls day, so what no-boys-allowed day would be complete without manicures?! Exactly. I'd driven by this place too many times to count, and figured I'd give it a try. I planned on us walking in early on a Saturday morning, but then our headcount went from 3 to 7 during breakfast. I called the salon the minute it opened, and asked if there was any way they could accommodate. Kelly was very nice and said she only had 2 techs in, but that she would call another to come in early. We arrived as-planned at 9:30, with the 3rd tech already there. Side-note: this salon is beautiful! Not your average strip-mall bullpen-style salon, it is very(!) clean and has a great, natural ambiance. This isn't something I normally care about, but it's a nice touch. Plus, they had complimentary on-demand coffee! No faster way to my heart than through caffeine. For 7 girls, 2 manicures, 4 gel manicures, and 4 pedicures, we were in and out in just a few mins over 2 hours...score! Plus, the two of us who are locals (from the original 7) are now regulars. Janae is great! Living in GVR (a mere mile east of Eastern), with oodles of strip mall salons nearby, I'm glad I stumbled upon this little gem. It's well worth passing 4 other salons on my way there.
