  • I'm not an experienced Ramen diner, but this was delicious. My only knock, which only stopped me from a five, I'll talk about later in my review. I had the Spicy Tonkotsu and Karage (fried chicken pieces). The broth was amazing and so full of flavor. The noodles were a little different and I liked it. I've only been to a couple of other Ramen restaurants and the noodles tended to be more plump and soft. These were slightly thinner and more al dente which I actually think works better. The Chashu (braised pork) in the soup was amazing! The Karage was good, pretty much what I've had at other places, but they didn't offer any sauce with it. Now, I don't know if it's standard to offer sauce or if that's more for us Americans. Service: My first issue was when I arrived. Nobody from the staff greeted me and each time someone came to the waiting area they just acted like I wasn't there, so I basically just stood around for a few minutes. There was even a guy at the host stand when I arrived and never said a word to me. I work in the industry and you need to at least say, "Hello, we will be right with you" so I know you've acknowledged my existence and I'll get seated. I apparently got there right before the lunch rush, so it was on the verge of getting busy. My server wasn't great, but there was another server who checked in on me and did more than my actual server. Because I'm not really experienced with Ramen, I don't know a lot about ingredients, the sauces on the table, etc... The server made me feel so rushed I couldn't even get any questions in. She also got my Ramen order SLIGHTLY wrong. Look, it gets super busy in there, I get it. That doesn't mean you should rush your guests. I would have given five stars.
