I am a 39 year old man. I had tried everything to lose weight and had a hard time losing much then would gain it all back quickly. I kept hearing the ads on KTAR and decided to give it a try. My wife joined too. It is very expensive but I figured that I would end up blowing the same amount on a gym for a couple years and rarely even go and not see any results. The people were nice. I was totally out of my element. There is soft whimsical music playing in the background and women everywhere. Not many men. I'm sure that I am just very insecure. but I felt out of place in my cowboy boots, bluejeans and tee-shirt.
Anywho... Like I said, I was overweight and about to hit 40 years old. I was pushing 250 and making my way out of size 42 waist jeans. I could no longer buy pants at the store, I had to order them because no one carried 42/34 pants. It sucked. I went to RedMontain WL and did the RM3 thing. I am a reader and I committed completely to this thing. I followed the (really tough) diet and followed all of the steps. I tried to understand the reasoning of it all and studied up on m own as well to not only live the letter of the "law" of this diet but also the "spirit" of the law as well. I lost 40 lbs in about 30 days. I continued to follow the steps of the plan and continued to lose weight and girth, albeit a little slower. Within 60 days I weighed 190 lbs and was able to get into size 34 pants. It has been 8 months since starting at RMWL and I have kept the weight off and have been able to use the tools (knowledge) that they gave me to make better choices.
It was not easy. In fact it was very difficult. They are not going to hold your hand. If they have to and you expect that, you will fail no matter what you do and what program you choose. Suck it up and make the sacrifice. What is 90 days out of your life to make a difference so profound that your life will change dramatically. I recommend RMWL because it worked for me.
